Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Statik ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the App.

2. Description of Service

Statik is a mobile application that allows users to create customizable visual overlays for their fitness activities by connecting to third-party services like Strava.

3. Service Connection

To use the App, you must connect a third-party account (e.g., Strava). You agree that:

• You own the third-party account you are connecting
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your third-party credentials (we do not see or store your password)
• You are responsible for all activities that occur while your device is connected

4. Strava Integration

The App integrates with Strava's API to access your activity data. By connecting your Strava account, you also agree to comply with Strava's Terms of Service and API Agreement. We are not responsible for any changes to Strava's services or API availability.

5. Subscription and Payments

The App offers a subscription service with the following terms:

• Free trial period may be offered to new users
• Subscription fees are billed on a recurring basis (e.g., monthly or annually) selected by you at the time of purchase through the App Store
• Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled 24 hours before the renewal date
• Refunds are subject to your app store's refund policies

6. User Content

You retain ownership of any content you create using the App, including overlays and exported images. You grant us a limited license to:

• Process your content to provide the service
• Display your content within the App

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any illegal purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer or modify the App
• Share your account credentials with others
• Use automated systems to access the App
• Interfere with or disrupt the App's operation

8. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, fonts, graphics, and code, is owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. The fonts used in style packs are licensed under the SIL Open Font License.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. YOUR USE OF THE APP IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

12. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time for violation of these Terms. Since the App does not create a proprietary user account, you may disconnect the service at any time by revoking access in your Strava settings or uninstalling the App.
